Gypsy Chic

So I have been trying to decide what to wear with this fab Chevron Maxi for a week and I finally thought of this combo and thought it turned out really GYPSY CHIC! The strechy material in the skirt is great because it's not heavy like some of the maxis I have- so the length is good!

Although it has been too long since my last post - I didn't fall off the bandwagon yet!  My sister in law and I were watching this new show on Lifetime called Pretty Wicked Moms and we died when the woman said "Did you just fall off the butterbean truck?" OH MY Gosh! so stinkin' funny. By the way-- if you forget the title of the show and try to google it don't search "hot moms"-  just sayin'!

Today is very matchy- match which is easy for me to do I guess. Sometimes I like being matchy but sometimes I despise it! I had to make sure I shaved last night for the shorts but it is totally worth it in the heat! ugh! Thank Goodness For Shorts (that are appropriate for work)!

Oh just another day at the office ya know! So this is a fun little post. I got to drive this little Honda moped around the parking lot a couple times. I was a natural I must say! If I didn't have such a far commute I would definitely invest in this zippity do dah!

Harem or Parachute?

So if you like me were not around in the 80's and need a bit of clarification on this trend I hate to LOVE... Here is what my research has yielded.

 

Harem Pants: A style of pant which has a long crotch and wide ballooning legs. Traditionally they are tight only at the ankle and made in lightweigh fabrics. Info Source

Parachute Pants: Are a modified version of a harem pant. They have a low crotch, but instead of the leg staying the same width all the way down, they begin to taper at the knee, becoming narrow at the ankle.Info Source
